The Greene County Democratic party will hold its off-year caucus Tuesday, March 24, from 7 to 8 pm at Prairie Blue (114 N Wilson Street, Jefferson).
All interested persons are invited to attend. Local party leadership will be elected at this meeting. The off-year caucus serves as an organizational meeting and is informal. Refreshments will be served.
“We need you – your ideas, your leadership – as we discuss and plan for the future of the Democratic Party in Greene County in preparation for the presidential election year,” said temporary party chair and caucus organizer Nicole Friess-Schilling. “We have succeeded in the past in welcoming many presidential candidates to Greene County. An organized local party is essential to keep our community on the presidential hopeful’s busy schedules. We have a very dedicated group of volunteers and I hope to see many new faces. The off year caucus is a great time to have your voice heard and find out how you can get involved with the local party as we set goals and plan for the future”.
